Designing the new generation of the Zaksenberg Juicer meant first to examine what's out there in terms of competative products, technologies and materials:

Next stage was to check out the existing model and determine its advantages and disadvantages in order to incorporate new features. For this we interviewd the people who use it day to night, and conclusions were drawn.

The old Juicer was manufactured using sand cast technolgy, a vast consumer of manual labour.
a new form of manufacturing was in desperate need.

Before changing the design, first we had to completely understand the methods of manufacturing for every single part of the old Juicer.

The most reasonable solution was to switch to laser technology, which meant incorporating flat parts in order to create a similar design to the old model. this was the company's request so that the public won't confuse the new Juicer with competative products.

The new product looked very similar to the old one, but costed half, and took half the time to complete.

The next generation utilizes the same technology, but this time new esthetics was chosen, maintaining price points and assembly duration.
