Mcor Technologies / Arke 3D Printer

The Mcor ARKe was the world’s first desktop full-color paper 3D printer, introduced by Irish manufacturer Mcor Technologies at CES 2016. Challenging conventional 3D printing methods based on plastic filament and resin, the ARKe used ordinary paper as its build material to create vivid, photorealistic physical objects. Utilizing Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) technology, the system combined paper cutting, color printing, and lamination into a seamless desktop manufacturing process. The design focused on making professional-quality 3D printing more accessible, sustainable, and intuitive for a broader range of users.
